Relationships rarely wobble because people stop caring. More often, issues arise because partners become stuck in patterns that might not be clear when you're in the midst of them.
You may find yourselves having the same argument over and over again. For example - one of you pursues, the other shuts down. Small moments escalate quickly, or important things never seem to get talked about at all. Conversations about intimacy, parenting, trust, or emotional closeness can feel tense, fragile, or avoided entirely.
Importantly, couples therapy is not about deciding who's right. It's about understanding what keeps happening between you - that's often where attachment comes in.
