I regularly run online workshops for therapists and helping professionals.
Workshops aim to be clear, grounded, and clinically relevant, with opportunities for reflection and discussion as well as delivery.
I teach and deliver training in attachment-informed practice. My aim is to make complex psychological ideas accessible, practical, and relevant to real conversations with real people — whether in the therapy room, a helping role, or the workplace.
I currently teach on the CPCAB Level 5 course in Attachment-Based Psychotherapeutic Counselling, supporting therapists to move beyond techniques and develop a deeper understanding of relational process. Much of the learning focuses on recognising patterns of attachment, understanding how distress affects thinking and emotional regulation, and learning how to stay reflective when clients are struggling, withdrawn, or overwhelmed.
I also provide training for organisations and professional groups who want a clearer understanding of behaviour, communication, and stress through an attachment lens.
Attachment theory offers a practical framework for understanding why people respond so differently under pressure - why some become anxious, others shut down, and others move quickly into action. When understood well, it can transform approaches to leadership, conflict, safeguarding, staff wellbeing, and client engagement.
Sessions are tailored to the needs of the organisation and can range from introductory awareness sessions to more in-depth workshops exploring communication, psychological safety, and managing challenging interactions.
